Depictions of an enigmatic bird-faced figure, presumed to be a goddess, appeared in the eastern Mediterranean during the Bronze Age. She often had a rounded figure, exaggerated pelvic triangle, and she sometimes held her breasts or a small child.
This piece is a study of and a tribute to that goddess, specifically inspired by a number of Late Bronze Age statuettes from Cyprus.
